The Summit™ Patella Plate secured to a patella with sutures running to the tendons

A Summit View into
Patella Injury

Managing deforming forces through direct soft-tissue integration.

Introducing the Summit Patella Plating System

Endeavor Orthopaedics’ Summit™ Patella Plating System is the only patella plating system with built-in soft tissue management provided in a single use kit. This combination of plate/screw and suture construct in one implant allows surgeons to address not only any osseous fracture repair and soft-tissue management, but it also offers a bio-mechanical advantage during patient recovery.

Through off-loading the natural forces of the knee’s extensor mechanism to a single, interconnected construct (plate, screws, and sutures) the surgical repair of the patella and soft tissue is able to move naturally while minimizing deforming distraction forces across the injury while healing.

Product Specifications

The single-use sterile procedure kit includes a standard or small plate, screws, sutures, and the core instrumentation needed to complete the procedure. Sterile procedure kits eliminate costly cleaning and processing of surgical implants and instruments.
